(part 1/2) Okay, so I live in Utah&my boyfriend moved to California in the beginning of June. Last week, I bought him a plane ticket to come home for 5 days, but now, due to circumstances, the date he’s coming out needs to be pushed back 3 days. I’m trying to move out with him, and it looks like it’s happening soon – soon to the point that he would fly out and then we would drive back to California together.
(part 2/2)The flight change fee is going to be $200, and I already spent over that on his plane ticket. I really don’t feel like I can spend that much money and still be able to go out with him when he gets here. We’re going to be spending the entire time at his parents house, but everyone is expecting me to pay the flight change fee when I already payed for the ticket! I really don’t want to, and I feel like I don’t need to if I’ll be with him that soon anyway. What should I do?
Ask your boyfriend for the other $200, share the expense with him. If you think it’s going to be worth spending, then go ahead. But I advice to share the expense with him.
Good luck to both of you.
My boyfriend and I will be starting a ldr in a month when he starts college. Any advice for us?
Keep communicating with each other. Also, be honest with each other.
How far is your SO? If it’s within driving range, surprise visit would be nice with chocolate or movie date.
Keep it simple but memorable.
Good luck, hoping for the best for the two of you. Stay in love.
