My trip to Sea World San Diego

On Thursday night, my aunt from Wisconsin, USA came to have two weeks vacation here in California. For her two weeks vacation, our families have a schedule to follow. Her first stop is Sea World, San Diego.

My sister and I have an annual pass to Sea World, so we decided to go. We left the house at 10:30am and arrived at Sea World by 12pm.

The reason why we went to Sea World is to take pictures, using my camera phone, my dad’s film camera, and my sister’s camera. Overall, we have three cameras to use. Unfortunately, I did not use my camera phone that often. I had five rolls of 24 shots and I ended up using half of them.

I am just hoping that my shots will turn out great or I will be wasting $15.

Anyways, we took about 1 hour to walk around and take pictures. Then, we went to see my aunts. They were riding “Journey to Atlantis” which is a roller coaster that might get you wet. Me and my sister then left to watch some shows around.

By 3pm, we meet again and this time to ride shipwreck. This will GUARANTEE you to be wet, and sometimes SOAKED. In this case, we were soaked twice. Well, we road it twice so we were soaked twice. It was fun though, although the waiting time isn’t that bad. We had fun.

Reading saves gas

Today, I advertise my ads for my books to be sold. One buyer called me to buy my book. I told him that I already left the campus and on my way home. He told me to meet up with him in Starbucks, I told him yea sure. So I hurried home to grab the book and drive to Starbucks.

He called me the first time, I didn’t answer because I am 20 seconds away from Starbucks, then I called him and he told me that he is in Albertson’s, which is 30 seconds away. He told me that he is getting some money and told me to meet me there.

I drove to Albertson’s and waited for him. He was shocked that the price of the book was $90 when it says on the ads $30. I told him that the $30 is for the “Student solution manual.” I told him that it’s for the student manual.

He offered me $70 for the book, I said no because I need $90 to buy another book, which is a lie. I need money to buy gas and other school supplies. So we had back and forth argument about the price. I said $80 and it’s the lowest.

He didn’t agree and we left. I just wasted my gas and he didn’t buy the book, it sucks because I have to go back home and go to Starbucks then to Albertson’s.

I’m still waiting for other buyer who can read :)

First Day of Class

Everything went fine, from looking for parking and even classes. I even get to see my friends and meet new friends. First day of school is very fun to me and I’m lucky that I don’t know anyone in my classes because I get to meet new people. :)

My first class is English, my professor is so chill that he talked about his life for 75% of the time and the 25% well we have to talk about ourself. Just say a few words about us :) The first time I saw him, I said to myself that he would be a fun professor. which is true :)
This class runs from 8am to 950am. Then I have 1 hour and 10 minutes to get something to eat. Breakfast burrito isn’t bad for breakfast :)

During my 1 hour long break, I have to post my book ads for sale. I got about 10 calls but some didn’t reply back. It’s so fun, this is my first time selling books on campus.

My second class is Geology, there is something about this professor. She knows a lot of stuff that we are going to talk about. She knows what she is doing and what she is talking about. With 15+ years of being a scientist/teacher she will be a good professor. Just the first five minutes of this class, everyone was getting along and getting to know each other. More laughter than I get from my last year’s math class.
this class runs from 11am to 12:20pm. After this class I have a quick break.

My third class is Spanish, it runs from 1 to 3:20. With two breaks every 1 hour. This professor is the coolest of all except for the part that he made us sing “La cucaracha.” For the first 1hour, he talked about the class syllabus and something about him. Then after that he made us greet each other in spanish. Which is great, we are all equal with speaking.

This is my first day, more days to come

Promoting jejemons?

While watching GMA PinoyTV, I saw a commercial that is promoting jejemons. The show is called “jejemom”. From what I understand from the commercial is that a mom is being a friend to a jejemon texter. Correct me if I am wrong.

DepEd is suppose to stop “jejetext” from ruling the language. I don’t know how they are doing right now, but from what I see GMA PinoyTV is even promoting jejemons by making a tv show.

What in the world is going on?
